Before I graduated BYU-Idaho I bought a student license of Photoshop CS3, it was on my very old laptop that has serious issues (like randomly turning off, which can be super annoying when you are working in Photoshop). For 7 months I have been trying to figure out how to uninstall it from the my laptop so that I can install it on my desktop computer. Well the other day I was tinkering around and figured it out. I now remember why I love this program so much it is so user friendly and you can do so many cool things. For example I was able to take this picture, from this:

To this, without using any destructive edits. Any one of these effects done to this image could be taken off by a simple click of a button.

To this image I applied a Motion and Gaussian blur to the falls . I then used a mask to mask out the image and then painted it back with the thick heavy brushes. Then I applied a canvas texture to my layers and added the text. (You will be able to see the difference in the two images better by clicking on the images)
